Who can place an order?

Anyone over 18 years of age.  We sell to the trade and to the public.  Please note that the person receiving the wine should also be over 18 years of age.

How?

The easiest way is by placing an order on-line.  This stores your selection and sends us the details when you are ready to order. No payment details are required at this stage.

Please make sure you include a contact number so that we can call you back to advise on delivery and query any special instructions.

What is the minimum order?

Minimum order is one case of 12 bottles which can be mixed.  There is no minimum for local deliveries.

What happens next?

We will check availability of the wines and confirm your order by email or letter.  When we have received payment we will contact you to arrange delivery.

Payment

We do not ask for payment until we have a confirmed delivery date.

We require payment prior to delivery. Once the order is confirmed as available and ready for delivery, you can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Delta or Maestro via Paypal. 

Paypal is a US based company that accepts payments and forwards the funds on to us.  We pay the card charges for these services. Please note that we do not refund the Foreign Exchange charges that PayPal charge AmEx customers (we understand that Paypal invoice AmEx customers in US Dollars).

Alternatively, we accept cheques payable to "LBB Wines" or direct money transfer.

When is delivery?

If the stock is available, delivery will normally be within the next few days. We personally deliver to an area within 15 miles of Christchurch, and if this is the case we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time. Outside this area, we will arrange postal delivery.

If the stock is unavailable, we will call you to discuss approximate delivery dates.

We will ask you to check the delivery and sign that you have received the goods in satisfactory condition.

How much is delivery?

There is no charge for delivery within 15 miles of Christchurch for orders of £80 or more, otherwise there is a fixed charge of £10 (inc VAT).

What if it’s wrong?

Please tell us immediately, and in writing within 3 days. We will arrange collection and a new delivery.
