Orders |
Minimum order is one case of 12 bottles which can be
mixed. There is no minimum for local deliveries.
LBB reserve the right not to accept any orders. By law, LBB can only sell to people over 18 years of age. |
Availability |
Wines are offered subject to availability
and will never be substituted. LBB will confirm
availability and expected delivery times when the order is placed. When LBB have confirmed the order in writing (by Fax, Email
or by post), then a legally binding contract exists between you the customer and LBB.
If you require guaranteed availability for a period of time then please tell us. LBB will advise if the wines
selected have limited availability. |
Prices and Payment Terms |
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are per 75cl bottle unless otherwise stated. Any delivery charges are additional.
LBB accept payment by cash, cheque (payable to LBB Wines),
money transfer
or by PayPal. There is an additional charge
for re-presentment of cheque.
Unless otherwise stated, payment is due prior to delivery.
An additional £35 may be charged for administration costs if payment is
not received within 60 days of delivery. LBB will exercise our statutory
right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs in the event of breach of contract. |
Delivery |
There is no charge for delivery within 15 miles of Christchurch for orders of £80 or more, otherwise there is a fixed charge of £10 (inc VAT)
irrespective of the number of bottles purchased for delivery to UK
Mainland. There is a surcharge for some areas of
Scotland and other areas. Where possible, LBB will arrange a date
and time for delivery.
LBB aim to deliver to you within 10 working days, depending on availability. If LBB are out of stock, then
this may be longer - LBB will advise if this is the case.
All goods should be examined at the time of delivery before signing the delivery
note. If the goods
delivered differ from those ordered in any way, then the sheet should be marked accordingly and LBB must then
be notified within 1 working day - claims cannot be accepted after this. LBB will arrange for collection and a new
delivery. If the customer requests the goods to be left without being signed for (as marked on the order confirmation)
then the goods are deemed accepted and are left at the customer's own risk.
Goods can only be delivered to persons over 18 years old. |
Ownership |
All wines remain the property of LBB until paid for in full. |
Accuracy of data |
The information contained in our literature and appearing on our website is purely for information
purposes and does not form part of the agreement.
LBB reserves the right to change price and availability information without notice. LBB will confirm the
availability and the price when LBB confirm your order. |
Returns |
The customer is responsible for storing the wines in a condition of LBBs satisfaction until
LBB can arrange collection. Once the goods are signed for as accepted then the customer will meet the cost of all delivery charges. |
Liability |
LBB will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the customer handling the wine and will not be liable
for any loss or damage caused by our employees or agents where the loss or damage was not foreseeable. |
Statutory Rights |
Nothing in this Agreement shall affect, exclude or limit your statutory rights as a consumer. |
Privacy Statement |
When you place an order, LBB ask for some personal details. LBB use this information to
process your order and to advise of special offers. LBB do not pass this information on to any third party without your
permission, unless required to do so by law or where the third party is acting on our behalf to process the order.
